Category III PPE with EU type certification according to the new Regulation 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council of March 9, 2016.

Description

Jumpsuit with a front yoke and gusseted back for easy movement. Two lower pockets and two vertical Napoleon-style chest pockets. Zipper extends to the neck and is protected by an interior and exterior placket. Sleeve adjustment with a fabric strip and Velcro, and a lower zipper for adjustment with boots. Velcro flap for lower leg pockets with a gusseted back.

Adjustable waist with an elastic interior, and a rear waist gusset for easy movement. Reinforced seat and preformed knee pads with reinforcements.

Two-piece model consisting of an ergonomically designed jacket without gussets at the back or elbows. No chest pocket. Two lower gusseted patch pockets with flap closures have a zippered entry. Neoprene elbow reinforcements and para-aramid interior padding. The zipper extends to the neck and is protected by an interior and exterior flap.

Sleeve adjustment with a fabric strip and Velcro or cuff. Bottom adjustment with a Nomex® drawstring.

Two types of pant designs are available: waistband and bib and brace style. Preformed at the knee with six darts. Two side flap pockets with rear gussets, both covered with flaps and Velcro. Seat reinforcement (optional) and cuffs resistant to abrasion and cuts.

Low-cut boots designed for compatibility with forestry and intervention boots with Velcro fabric adjustment.

Both models feature reinforced areas for support on surfaces where extra protection is required, with a level 5 cut and level 4 perforation rating according to EN388:2016 for the elbows and knees. Level 4 cut and perforation ratings for the back reinforcements, and level 2 cut and level 3 perforation ratings for the seat and shoulder pads.

Both models feature 3M™ reflective tape sewn or heat-sealed in grey (reflective) with a minimum width of 50 mm and triple width of 50 mm for jackets and 76 mm for trousers.

We adapt to the design needs of firefighting services (in terms of identification and pocket sizes).

Applications

PPE consisting of a jacket and overpants intended to protect the user's entire body, except for the head, hands, and feet. It protects against hazards in firefighting operations and associated activities where there is a risk of heat and/or flames, and against the buildup of electrostatic charges to prevent incendiary discharges.

Regulations

According to EN340:2003 and EN ISO 13688:2013, General Requirements, EN ISO16689:2017 activity associated with rescue in traffic collisions and in collapsed structures after natural disasters, EN 15614:2007 in forest firefighting and associated activities (A1 and A2), EN ISO 15384:2020 and EN 1149-5:2018 against risks of accumulation of electrostatic charges to avoid incendiary discharges according to standard EN 1149-3:2004.

    • 21ST CENTURY LF 265. 50% Nomex®, 50% FR Viscose. Textile structure: Twill 2/1. Navy blue or gold.

High visibility yellow HI-VI fabric:

    • Nomex® Pro-Vis 270. 43% Nomex® 34% FR Polyester, 23% FR Viscose.
    • Intimate mix.
    • Weight: 270 gr/m2.
    • Piece dyed. The fabric is not double-ply, it is an intimate blend.
    • Antistatic fabric.
    • Weight of 270 gr/m² ± 5%
