Description
The curtain is a device that is connected to the end of a hose (also a fixed pipe) that, when placed on the ground, without fasteners and working at any pressure (up to 35 bar), does not move and forms a fan-shaped water curtain that protects from fire radiation and also serves as a shield for other water projections along different lines.
As water passes through the interior of the fitting and the body, it hits the cycloidal front shield, and the water exits through the upper slots where the body and shield meet, forming a protective fan.
Their multiple uses are the best example of their usefulness: forming corridors between fires, trenches for water cannons, safety screens for welding in hazardous atmospheres, cooling of areas and structures, protection of vehicles during fires, etc.
