The Helios 5F fire-resistant leather glove combines superior protection with exceptional sensitivity. The robust yet flexible Fire Block leather offers high resistance to flames and water, exhibiting no shrinkage (0% according to ISO 17493/EN 659, although a maximum of 5% is permitted) even at the highest temperatures. The Heat Block Nappa leather backhand and palm provide superior grip and excellent sensitivity. The anatomically shaped, fire-resistant knuckle protector offers complete protection against impacts and shocks. It also protects the back of the hand from heat and injury. Fire Block leather reinforcement on the palm provides additional protection. The revolutionary multi-layer cut-resistant coating made of Kevlar®/Inox/LCP gives the Helios 5F high-performance protection against cuts and sharp edges. Thanks to the GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® Grip insert, the Helios 5F protects against moisture, chemicals, oil, gasoline, blood, and viruses, while maintaining maximum breathability. The revolutionary new flap cuff allows the glove to be securely fastened over a jacket, or the knit cuff version can be worn neatly under a jacket.
All maximum mechanical and thermal values are achieved both when new and after a pretreatment of 20 washes at 30°C. The lining insertion, its fixation, and its connection to the outer layer are carried out according to ESKA's proven patented process to permanently prevent unwanted lining detachment. The anatomical 3D layered cut adapts to the natural position of the hand to ensure the best possible fit and freedom of movement.
