Description

The Mars-E 5F short tactile firefighting glove, made of leather, features a 100% Kevlar® knitted cuff and a completely new design. Made of durable, soft Fire Block leather, the Mars-E5F provides maximum flame and water resistance and is shrink-free, even at the highest temperatures (0% according to ISO 17493/EN 659, although a maximum of 5% is permitted). Knuckle protection and reinforcement in the stress zone provide optimal protection against abrasion and heat. Fire Block leather on the palm offers maximum grip on wet, smooth surfaces. Thanks to the revolutionary multi-layer cut-resistant coating made of Kevlar®/Inox/LCP, the Mars 5F offers high-performance protection against cuts and sharp edges. The 100% Kevlar® knitted cuff provides a secure fit under a jacket. The reflective logo and side piping made of reflective materials provide improved visibility. All maximum mechanical and thermal values ​​were achieved both in new condition and after pretreatment consisting of 20 washes at 30°C. The 3D layered anatomical cut adapts to the natural posture of our hands, ensuring the best possible fit and freedom of movement. We use only European materials, which undergo strict quality control in Austria. Firefighter gloves are available in versions with a 100% Kevlar® knitted cuff (Mars-E 5F model) or a long cuff (Mars 5F model).
