The PBI SIGA PBI 5F firefighter glove is the only one on the market with full PBI protection on the back of the hand and palm. This glove will impress you with its superior heat and flame resistance, as well as excellent freedom of movement. The durable PBI fiber on the back of the hand and palm offers maximum thermal protection and comfort, making the glove extremely lightweight. The anatomically shaped, flame-resistant knuckle protector ensures complete protection against blows and impacts. It also protects the back of the hand from heat exposure and injury. The abrasion-resistant PBI Gold palm with PROmarble coating provides maximum protection and grip on smooth and wet surfaces. The flame-resistant and cut-resistant Kevlar®/inox/LCP lining protects the firefighter against pointed objects and sharp edges (Level 4F). Thanks to the GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® Grip insert, the Phönix 5F provides a reliable barrier against water, chemicals, oil, fuel, blood, and viruses, while also offering maximum breathability. The inner lining is integrated, and the insert is secured and connected to the outer layer using ESKA's proven, patented method to permanently prevent the lining from inadvertently coming loose. A sophisticated two-strap system ensures a secure fit, allowing the glove to be worn over a jacket (Siga PBI 5F, long cuff) or under a jacket (Siga-E PBI 5F, knit cuff).
All maximum mechanical and thermal values were achieved both in new condition and after pretreatment consisting of 20 washes at 60°C. The anatomical 3D layered cut conforms to the natural position of your hands, ensuring the best possible fit and freedom of movement. We use only European materials, which undergo rigorous quality control in Austria. The firefighter gloves are available in versions with a long cuff (Siga PBI 5F model) or with a 100% Kevlar® knitted cuff (Siga-E PBI 5F model).
