The outstanding PBI Zeus PBI 5F firefighter glove offers complete PBI protection on the back of the hand and palm. It boasts superior heat and flame resistance, as well as a high degree of freedom of movement. The even more durable PBI LP fiber on the back of the hand and palm provides maximum thermal protection and wearing comfort, while also making the glove extremely lightweight. PBI LP is a revolutionary new PBI fiber that maximizes fire and explosion protection in lightweight outer shells. The anatomically shaped, fire-resistant knuckle protector offers absolute protection against impacts and blows. It also protects the back of the hand from heat exposure and injury. The abrasion-resistant PBI Gold palm with PROmarble coating offers maximum protection and grip, even on slippery and wet surfaces. A PBI Gold reinforcement has been added to the thumb crease, the first point of attack when extinguishing an internal fire, providing additional protection with double the protection. The flame-resistant Kevlar®/Inox/LCP cut-resistant liner protects the firefighter from sharp objects and edges (performance level 5F). Thanks to the GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® Grip insert, the Zeus PBI 5F protects against moisture, chemicals, oil, gasoline, blood, and viruses, while maintaining maximum breathability. The liner is inserted, the insert is secured, and it is attached to the outer shell using ESKA's proven patented process to permanently prevent unwanted liner removal.
The new and revolutionary Flap Cuff solution allows the glove to be ideally secured when worn over a jacket.
All maximum mechanical and thermal values are certified both when new and after a pretreatment of 20 washes at 60°C. The layered, anatomical 3D cut adapts to the natural position of the hand to ensure the best possible fit and freedom of movement.
