Fireproof blanket for electric vehicles

Blanket specially designed to extinguish fires in electric vehicles, without the need to use water that dilutes highly polluting and toxic elements from vehicle combustion that can seep into the subsoil.

This blanket is able to withstand high temperatures for hours, thus allowing the fire to be extinguished, but above all as a prevention of its rapid spread before and after the arrival of the firefighters.

Technical characteristics

  • Fiberglass Blanket: coated with silicone specially prepared for the shutdown of electric vehicles, both indoors and outdoors.
    • Composition: 80%-90% fiberglass; 20%-10% silicone.
    • Long-term exposure to high temperature: 550ºC.
    • Short-term exposure to high temperature: 760ºC.
  • Blanket made with silica coated with silicone: which allows for superior heat resistance. Textile certified according to EN 13501-1 standard.
    • Long-term exposure to high temperature: 1,100ºC.
    • Short-term exposure to high temperature: 1,800ºC.
    • Tested according to ISO 1182:2020; ISO 13238:2010.

Utilization

  • With four large handles for easy deployment by two people.
  • Prevent the vehicle from being burned by smothering the fire.
  • Prevent the spread to another vehicle or nearby infrastructure.
  • It stops the spread of toxic and opaque fumes.
  • Very flexible, it easily wraps around all types of cars.
