FIRE FORCE GLIDE MODEL
REF 32120
Outfit consisting of a 2/4 jacket and dungarees.
Description
Techs Force Gold outer fabric, a development by the Spanish company Textil Santanderina. Woven with a special broken twill weave, which gives it a distinctive look; partly due to the para-aramid filaments in the weft, which provide increased mechanical performance. Weight: 220g/m².
Highly resistant to heat and flames. It also features a chemical-, liquid-, acid-, and other repellent finish. Also available in gold and red.
As a moisture barrier, we offer the Stedfast™ PTFE-Bicomponent membrane on a 3D aramid base. Weight 140g/m².
Its GLIDE® ICE inner lining, a blend of 60% para-aramid filament, 26% metaramid and 14% FR viscose with a 60g non-woven barrier, forms the perfect element for the best comfort and ease of use for our firefighters.
The continuous filament gives us the advantages of a gliding fabric with an MIU coefficient of friction of less than 0.19 and an SMD roughness greater than 5. Furthermore, the viscose content improves comfort by absorbing and transporting moisture. It is air permeable and its RET is less than 6 m² pa/w. A perfect balance between performance and comfort.
A well-balanced suit with good mechanical performance and thermal insulation. The outer fabric offers excellent colorfastness, abrasion resistance, and a distinctive design. The bi-component PTFE membrane offers excellent protection against viruses, pathogens, chemicals, and hydrocarbons. Its comfortable inner lining offers excellent glide, low friction, high permeability, and excellent sweat wicking. High mobility, excellent sweat wicking, and excellent mechanical and thermal protection make it a good choice for firefighters.
Standard color: Navy blue, gold or red.
FIRE FORCE® GLIDE
CERTIFIED AFTER 50 WASH AND DRY CYCLES
Applications
PPE consisting of a jacket and overpants intended to protect the user's entire body, except for the head, hands, and feet. It protects against hazards in firefighting operations and associated activities where there is a risk of heat and/or flames, and against the buildup of electrostatic charges to prevent incendiary discharges.
Regulations
- EN ISO 13688:2013.
- UNE EN 469:2020.
- UNE EN 1149-5:2018 according to standard EN 1149-3:2004.
Jacket description
We adapt to the needs of our clients' budgets and needs.
2/4-length jacket, body constructed with a front and back yoke with two front and one back piece. The back is constructed with two symmetrical side pleats. Sleeves with preformed elbows and gusseted underarms are ergonomically designed for fire service work.
Elbow reinforcements with FR padded interior fabric and fire-resistant neoprene/kevlar® at the cuff of the jacket.
It will be fastened at the front with a double closure, using a highly resistant and fire-resistant zipper, top open, double slider or single, hidden by a flap and Velcro.
The jacket features two Napoleon-style exterior pockets on both chests, an interior pocket on the left side parallel to the flap with a zipper for harness access, and two lower pockets with flaps and Velcro. A radio pocket and a flashlight pocket can be adapted.
The sleeve ends with a stretchy Nomex® knit cuff. The cuff features a thumb loop to prevent the garment from shifting.
The jacket's collar is designed to protect the face and neck without hindering vision and movement.
The jacket incorporates 50 and 76 mm triple 3M™ reflective sewn or heat-welded and 50 mm grey 3M™ heat-welded on the front, back, and sleeve.
The name of the Fire Department will be printed on the upper back in 3M™ reflective tape.
Description of the trouser cover
High-cut trouser cover, i.e., bib-style. It has the same layers as the jacket. The bib is long enough to provide at least 30 cm of overlap when worn with the jacket. Gusseted crotch for increased mobility.
It is equipped with a fly that closes with a fireproof zipper and a Velcro flap.
With side waist adjustment using outer fabric, a buckle and Velcro.
Each leg has triple reflective tape around the bottom of each leg and on the outside of each leg, measuring 50 mm and/or 76 mm, from the 3M™ brand.
It features highly durable, adjustable elastic straps with quick-release fasteners at the front and back for easy replacement.
The inner hem will be made of anti-chafing and moisture-wicking fabric to prevent water wicking. The outer hem will be reinforced with fire-resistant Kevlar®-based neoprene.
Preformed knee for increased mobility. The exterior features silicone-coated neoprene reinforcement on a 100% aramid knit base in black on the knees, with FR foam interior padding encapsulated in the same outer fabric to reduce pressure and impact on the wearer.
It has two patch pockets with a rear gusset and drains.
OPTION:
- Urban seat and restraint harness. Certified to EN 813 and EN 358. An upper section can also be added, which, together with the lower section, forms a fall-arrest harness compliant with EN 361.
