Jacket description

2/4-length jacket, body constructed with a front and back yoke, with two front and two back panels. The back is constructed with two symmetrical side pleats. Sleeves with preformed elbows and gusseted underarms are ergonomically designed for fire service work.

Exterior reinforcement on the elbows is made of silicone-coated neoprene on a 100% aramid knit base in black with a padded FR interior fabric and flame-resistant neoprene/Kevlar® reinforcement on the jacket's cuffs. Fastens at the front with a double closure, using a heavy-duty, flame-resistant, TOP-OPEN, DOUBLE-CURSOR, or SINGLE zipper, concealed by a flap and Velcro.

The jacket features two Napoleon-style exterior pockets on both chests, an interior pocket on the left side parallel to the flap with a zipper for harness access, and two lower pockets with flaps and Velcro. A transmitter pocket and a flashlight pocket can be adapted.

The sleeve ends with a stretchy Nomex® knit cuff. The cuff features a thumb loop to prevent the garment from shifting.

The jacket's collar is designed to protect the face and neck without impeding vision and movement. The jacket features triple-stitched or heat-welded 50 and 76 mm 3M™ reflective tape, and heat-welded 50 mm gray 3M™ reflective tape on the front, back, and sleeves.

The name of the Fire Department will be printed on the upper back in 3M™ reflective tape.

Description of the trouser cover

High-cut trouser cover, i.e., bib-style. It has the same layers as the jacket. The bib is long enough to provide at least 30 cm of overlap when worn with the jacket. Gusseted crotch for increased mobility.

It features a fly with a fireproof zipper and a Velcro placket. The waist can be adjusted at the side with an outer fabric loop and Velcro.

Each leg has triple reflective stitching around the bottom of each leg measuring 76 mm and vertically on the outside measuring 50 mm, and heat-welded grey on the bottom of the pocket and the legs measuring 50 mm, all from the 3M™ brand.

It features highly durable, adjustable, and quick-release elastic straps at the front and back for easy layering.

The inner hem will be made of anti-chafing and moisture-wicking fabric to prevent water wicking. The outer hem will be reinforced with fire-resistant Kevlar®-based neoprene.

Preformed knee with grippers for increased mobility. The exterior features silicone-coated neoprene reinforcement on a 100% aramid knit base in black, with FR foam interior padding encapsulated in the
outer fabric to reduce pressure and impact on the wearer. It features two gusseted rear pockets with drainage holes.
