FIRE MAX LP GLIDE MODEL
REF 32119

Outfit consisting of a 2/4 jacket and dungarees.

Description

PBI® LP is the new and revolutionary PBI® fiber that maximizes flame and open-tear resistance in super-lightweight intervention garments. The PBI® polymer chain has been reinforced, allowing us to create lighter garments while increasing flame and open-tear resistance. It decomposes at 815°C, and we have more than 50 seconds in the "Dynamic Flame Test" to reach fabric rupture. The FIREMAX® LP intervention model features this fiber in the outer fabric composition and weighs 180 g/m². It is complemented by a Stedfast™ two-component PTFE membrane on an aramid base. Its GLIDE® ICE inner lining, a blend of 60% para-aramid filament, 26% metaramid, and 14% FR viscose with a 60 g non-woven barrier, provides the perfect element for optimal comfort and ease of use for our firefighters. It's the perfect balance between performance and comfort.

The continuous filament gives us the advantages of a sliding fabric with a MIU friction coefficient of less than 0.19 and an SMD roughness better than 5.

Furthermore, thanks to its viscose content, it improves comfort, absorbs and wicks away moisture. It is air permeable, and its RET is less than 6 m²pa/w.

We can say that we have achieved one of the lightest pieces of equipment on the market with a comfortable inner lining that offers excellent glide, low friction, high breathability, and excellent sweat-wicking capabilities. Its ease of movement, low weight, sweat-wicking properties, along with good mechanical and thermal protection, give this PPE characteristics highly valued by firefighters.

Standard color: Gold (gold, the color of the fibers).

FIRE MAX® LP GLIDE

CERTIFIED AFTER 40 WASH AND DRY CYCLES

Applications

PPE consisting of a jacket and overpants intended to protect the user's entire body, except for the head, hands, and feet. It protects against hazards in firefighting operations and associated activities where there is a risk of heat and/or flames, and against the buildup of electrostatic charges to prevent incendiary discharges.

Regulations

  • EN ISO 13688:2013.
  • UNE EN 469:2020.
  • UNE EN 1149-5:2018 according to standard EN 1149-3:2004

Jacket description

We adapt to the needs of our clients' budgets and needs.

Two-quarter length jacket, body constructed with a front and back yoke, consisting of two front pieces and one back piece. The back features two symmetrical side pleats. Sleeves are pre-shaped at the elbows and have ergonomically designed underarm gussets for firefighter work. Reinforced elbows with FR padded inner fabric and fire-resistant neoprene/Kevlar® at the cuffs. The front fastens with a double closure: a heavy-duty, fire-resistant, top-open zipper with either a double slider or a single zipper, concealed by a storm flap and Velcro.

The jacket features two Napoleon-style external pockets on both chests, an internal zippered pocket on the left side parallel to the lapel for harness access, and two lower pockets with flaps and Velcro closures. A radio pocket and a flashlight attachment pocket can be added.

The sleeve ends with a stretchy Nomex® knit cuff. The cuff features a thumb loop to prevent the garment from shifting.

The jacket's collar is designed to protect the face and neck without hindering vision and movement.

The jacket incorporates 50 and 76 mm triple 3M™ reflective sewn or heat-welded and 50 mm grey 3M™ heat-welded on the front, back and sleeve.

The name of the Fire Department will be printed on the upper back in 3M™ reflective tape.

Description of the trouser cover

High-cut trouser cover, i.e., bib-style. It has the same layers as the jacket. The bib is long enough to provide at least 30 cm of overlap when worn with the
jacket. Gusseted crotch for increased mobility.

It features a fly with a fireproof zipper and a Velcro placket. The waist can be adjusted at the side with an outer fabric loop and Velcro.

Each leg has triple reflective tape around the bottom of each leg and on the outside of each leg, measuring 50 mm and/or 76 mm, from the 3M™ brand.

It features highly durable, adjustable, and quick-release elastic straps at the front and back for easy replacement.

The inner hem will be made of anti-chafing and moisture-wicking fabric to prevent water wicking. The outer hem will be reinforced with fire-resistant Kevlar®-based neoprene.

Preformed knee for increased mobility. The exterior features silicone-coated neoprene reinforcement on a 100% aramid knit base in black on the knees, with FR foam interior padding encapsulated in the same outer fabric to reduce pressure and impact on the wearer.

It has two patch pockets with a rear gusset and drains.

OPTION:

  • Urban seat and restraint harness. Certified to EN 813 and EN 358. An upper section can also be added, which, together with the lower section, forms a fall-arrest harness compliant with EN 361.
  • Complete harness, model Fire Pro, certified EN 813, EN 358 and EN 361.
  • Washable integrated harness, Fire Clean model certified EN 813 and EN 361.
