PROTECTIVE RAMP FOR HOSES

Description

Constructed from pine wood, they consist of 5 beams, four of which are wedge-shaped, while the central one is not tapered. They are held together by a canvas skirt that gives shape and support to the assembly.

The wooden parts are painted with a layer of red paint, except for the ends and the canvas skirt, which are painted white.

For hoses of Ø 25, 45 and 70 mm. DIN 14820.

All large hose lines have the drawback of making the area they cross impassable. However, during many firefighting operations, it is necessary to allow the passage of vehicles, such as aerial ladders, water tankers, etc., to perform other tasks in addition to water delivery. To avoid this problem, these bridges have been designed to allow vehicles to cross, preventing the hoses from being pinched or damaged, and also facilitating vehicle access through a rolling effect.

Hose ramps must be installed in pairs along the hose lines, spaced according to the vehicle's wheel axle width. Their dimensions allow for the passage of dual wheels.
