Category III PPE with EU type certificate according to the new Regulation 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016.

Description

Uniform consisting of a jacket and bib-style trousers.

Ergonomically designed jacket without back gussets and pre-shaped elbows. No chest pocket. Two lower patch pockets with gussets and flap closures are accessible via zippers. Elbows are reinforced with neoprene and have internal aramid padding. The zipper extends to the neck and is protected by an inner and outer storm flap. Sleeves are adjustable with a fabric strap and Velcro or cuffs. The hem is adjustable with a Nomex® drawcord.

Bib overalls with suspenders. Pre-shaped knees with six darts. Two side patch pockets with back gussets, both covered with flaps and Velcro. Reinforced seat (optional) and abrasion- and cut-resistant hems.

Low-cut boots designed to be compatible with forestry and intervention boots with Velcro fabric adjustment.

Reinforced areas are provided for support on surfaces where extra protection is required, with level 5 cut and level 4 perforation according to EN388:2016 for the elbows and knees. Level 4 cut and perforation protection is provided for the back reinforcements, and level 2 cut and level 3 perforation protection for the seat and shoulder pads.

With 3M™ reflective material sewn or heat-fixed in grey (reflective) with a minimum width of 50mm and triple 50mm on jacket and 76mm on trousers.

We adapt to the design needs of fire services (in terms of identification, and pocket sizes).

Applications

Ergonomically designed PPE for work in traffic accidents, work in collapsed structures, natural disasters such as earthquakes, landslides, where protection against mechanical risks, heat and flammability and visibility are a necessary requirement.

This garment is also certified for forest fires. It provides protection for the torso, neck, arms up to the wrists, and legs up to the ankles.

Regulations

According to EN340:2003 and EN ISO 13688:2013, General requirements, EN ISO16689:2017 activity associated with rescue in traffic collisions and in collapsed structures after natural disasters, EN ISO15384:2020 against partial protection for fighting forest fires and associated activities, EN 1149-5:2018 against risks of accumulation of electrostatic charges.
