Category III PPE with EU type certification according to the new Regulation 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council of March 9, 2016.

Description

Uniform consisting of a jacket and dungarees.

Ergonomically designed jacket without gussets at the back or preformed elbows. No chest pocket. Two lower pockets with gussets and flap closures have a zippered interior. Neoprene elbow reinforcements and aramid-reinforced interior padding. Zipper extends to the neck and is protected by an interior and exterior flap. Sleeve adjustments are made with a fabric strip and Velcro or cuff. Bottom adjustment is made with a Nomex® drawstring.

Bib-style pants with suspenders. Preformed at the knee with six pleats. Two side flap pockets with rear gussets, both covered with flaps and Velcro. With seat reinforcement (optional) and abrasion- and cut-resistant cuffs.

Low-cut boots designed for compatibility with forestry and intervention boots with Velcro fabric adjustment.

Reinforcement zones are available for support on surfaces where extra protection is required, with a level 5 cut and level 4 perforation rating according to EN388:2016 for the elbows and knees. Level 4 cut and perforation ratings for the back reinforcements, and level 2 cut and level 3 perforation ratings for the seat and shoulder pads.

With 3M™ reflective sewn or heat-fixed in grey (reflective) with a minimum width of 50mm and triple 50mm on jackets and 76mm on trousers.

We adapt to the design needs of firefighting services (in terms of identification and pocket sizes).

Applications

Ergonomically designed PPE for work in traffic accidents, work on collapsed structures, and natural disasters such as earthquakes and landslides, where protection against mechanical hazards, heat, flammability, and visibility are essential.

This garment is also certified for forest fires. It protects the torso, neck, arms, and wrist, and legs down to the ankles.

Regulations

According to EN340:2003 and EN ISO 13688:2013, General requirements, EN ISO16689:2017 activity associated with rescue in traffic collisions and in collapsed structures after natural disasters, EN ISO15384:2020 against partial protection for forest fire fighting and associated activities, EN 1149-5:2018 against risks of accumulation of electrostatic charges.

Main fabric LXIII 225 gr

  • Composition: 56% aramid ®, 36% FR Viscose, 6% para-aramid, 2% p140.

High visibility yellow fabric:

  • Nomex® Pro-Vis 270.
  • Composition: 43% Nomex®, 34% FR Polyester, 23% FR Viscose. Anti-static fabric. Piece dyed. The fabric is not double-layered, but an intimate blend.
