This garment is made from a double-layered fabric. The pieces are joined so that all seams are concealed between the two layers. The opening is finished with a 15mm seam. All seams are flat. The sewing thread used is made of the same material as the fabric. Its stitch count is 4 stitches per cm.
This hood has been designed for use in structural firefighting and related activities. This hood is used as secondary protection against heat and flames and must be used in conjunction with other head protection equipment.
The garment complies with the EN 13911:2017 standard.
